Women in Design
International Women’s Day

by Jessica

To mark International Women’s Day, Microtech Digital are recognizing some of the ways in which women have contributed to design.

Scarlet Duba of Duba Design speaks about her experience of representing women in design at the Type Directors Club in her website blog, which can be found here. She expresses her experiences of having the opportunity to share her personal work and tell her story to an aspiring audience as a female graphic designer.

Providing opportunities for other designers to showcase their talent, freelance designer Teresa Sdralevich leads a number of design workshops, which allow for participants to collaborate on a variety of projects. Examples of her personal work and her extensive experience of leading creative design workshops can be found here. Having the scope to display finished products after workshop completion grants a rewarding experience for participants.
